Your new role

As a Pre-construction Manager / Director, you will lead front-end project strategy across multiple data center developments, taking ownership of cost planning, estimating, subcontractor engagement, and pre-construction execution.
You will work closely with development, construction, and external partners to ensure projects are set up for success, driving cost certainty, schedule optimization, and constructibility from early concept through project start.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Leading estimating and cost planning across all project phases
  • Managing RFP processes for general contractors, designers, and key trade partners
  • Developing subcontractor and labor strategies aligned with regional market conditions
  • Supporting schedule development and acceleration initiatives
  • Driving value engineering and risk mitigation strategies
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships across the contractor and vendor network


What you'll need to succeed


  • 10+ years of experience in pre-construction, estimating, or project development within commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction
  • Strong understanding of GC bid processes, subcontractor procurement, and cost modeling
  • Experience leading conceptual and detailed estimates on large-scale projects
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and fast-paced project pipelines
  • Leadership experience managing or mentoring teams
  • Exposure to data center, industrial, or EPC environments preferred
  • Technical familiarity with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and P6/MS Project is advantageous.
