Our client is seeking a PowerBI Developer in Bellevue, WA \ Hybrid.
Role Description
Job Details:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our team in Bellevue, WA. This is a hybrid role, requiring the resource to be onsite at the client location 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, report development, and working with business stakeholders to deliver impactful BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business needs.
Gather requirements from business users and translate them into technical specifications.
Perform data analysis, data modeling, and create efficient data visualizations.
Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Integrate Power BI with various data sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
Support ad hoc data requests and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making.
Skills & Requirements
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI (Power BI Desktop, Service, DAX, Power Query).
Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
Experience with data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema).
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure Data Lake, Synapse, or similar.
Strong communication skills to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must be local to Bellevue, WA or willing to relocate.
Must be willing to work onsite 3 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other BI tools like Tableau, SSRS, or Qlik is a plus.
Background in Agile methodologies and sprint-based development.
Knowledge of scripting or automation using Power Automate or similar tools
