About the Company
A well-established, fast-growing organization is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations for a complex, multi-entity workforce. This is a high-impact role within a collaborative finance team, supporting a mix of hourly, salaried, and project-based employees.



Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee full-cycle payroll processing (weekly/bi-weekly) across diverse employee groups
  • Ensure accurate calculation of overtime, prevailing wage, bonuses, and other earnings
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including certified and union payroll (as applicable)
  • Manage payroll taxes, filings, deductions, and audits
  • Partner with Finance to reconcile payroll, support reporting, and maintain data integrity
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll inquiries and issue resolution
  • Drive process improvements and strengthen payroll controls




Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of payroll experience; construction or field-based payroll strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of wage & hour laws, payroll tax regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Experience with prevailing wage, certified payroll, or union environments
  • Proficiency with payroll systems (ADP experience a plus) and advanced Excel skills
