Our client is seeking a Parametric Network Engineer in Greenwood Village, CO
Role Description
• It is searching for a Network Engineer II (NEII) for the CPE Hardware Engineering - Parametric team. The NEII will be responsible for testing related to hardware certifications, standards compliance, hardware teardown, and ad hoc testing for field issues/executive requests. The position will require a mix of desk and lab work.
Skills & Requirements
• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or similar
• Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical test parameters
• Ability to read and understand technical testing standards (IEEE/IEC/CableLabs/ANSI)
• Ability to read and understand technical regulations (FCC/UL) applicable to WiFi/DOCSIS/ONU networking hardware.
• Identify & document defects on printed circuit board (PCB).
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) troubleshooting techniques on PCB. (Preferred)
• Ability to operable electrical engineering and network lab equipment with care and safety
• Basic experience with electrical engineering (EE) lab equipment.
• Ability to review documentation for extensive periods
• Ability to assess testing setups and methodologies
• Ability to understand foundational operating principles of WiFi, DOCSIS, and ONU networking hardware
• Foundational knowledge of RF performance at the Physical (L1) and Application (L7) layers
• Ability to learn, or have experience with, basic linux commands
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
• Ability to read, write and speak the English language
• Knowledge of, or experience with, device testing in the following areas: Thermal, Power, Immunity, Reliability, Environmental. (Preferred)
• Ability to enforce technical requirement compliance with vendors through respectful and collaborative communication.
• Comfortable asking questions and seeking feedback to improve
• Communicates clearly and respectfully with technical and non-technical team members
• Can translate technical findings into concise updates for teammates or leadership
• Listens actively and values other’s perspectives
• Works well in a team environment and supports peers when troubleshooting
• Reliable and detail oriented when performing repetitive or procedural tasks
• Manages time effectively and follows through on commitments
• Demonstrates accountability for assigned tasks and tickets
• Flexible and adaptable when priorities shift or new projects are introduced
• Able to stay organized when juggling multiple priorities
• Aligns with a collaborative, low-ego engineering culture
