Our client is seeking a Mid Level NOC(Network Operations Center) in for a remote opportunity

Role Description

• The job function will be to monitor a dashboard and follow a process to notify the managed service provider of the issue to get ahead of any technical issue that may affect the operations from store opening to midday.

• Basic understanding of ethernet switching, and wireless networking with the ability to follow a process to notify managed service provider of issues.
• The resource will be familiarized with the Home Depot network and will be needed for at least a year and can work remotely
• The resource will monitor a dashboard that will advise when the primary circuit to the store is failed, and the store is running on backup
• The resource will be responsible for managing trouble tickets for Wired/Wireless networks with HPE managed services to resolution ensuring that progress is being made to resolution.
• The resource must ensure the trouble tickets are being updated timely with the proper information as well as making sure the updates are complete.
• The resource will monitor a dashboard that watches the HPE store solutions
• If there is a problem detected the resource will reach out to HPE managed services contact and report the issue to them proactively.
• The net of this is that the resource will need to have a mid level knowledge of the technology stack deployed in the THD store in order to know how to drive to resolution network related trouble tickets.
