Senior Mechanical Engineer
On-Site NYC
Salary: $115k - $150k

Your New Role
You will play a key role in the production and design of mechanical systems, primarily focused on central cooling and heating plants. This mid-level role requires a solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and the ability to get up to speed quickly. You will work on retrofits and projects for government agencies, ensuring the successful execution of tasks without leadership or office management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the production and design of mechanical systems for central cooling and heating plants.
• Perform retrofit projects and work with government agencies to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Review and evaluate mechanical engineering designs, providing technical guidance as needed.
• Prepare red-line markups for CAD personnel.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a consulting firm.
• PE licensed Engineer preferred.
• Strong technical proficiency and expertise in mechanical engineering design.
• Experience with central cooling and heating plants, and retrofit projects.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
