An established and highly respected General Contractor based in Frederick, Maryland is seeking an experienced Mid-Level to Senior Estimator to join their established team of 2. With a strong reputation for integrity, sustainability, and client satisfaction, this firm delivers high-quality projects across a diverse range of sectors including Office, Mixed Use, Industrial, Education, Government, Healthcare, Multi-family Residential, Hospitality, Parking Structures, Interiors, and Renovations typically valued $5-$40Million.

Your new role

You’ll play a pivotal role in the success of both hard bid and negotiated projects, contributing to preconstruction services and supporting the company’s position as a preferred contractor. You’ll work closely with a tight-knit estimating team of two, including a Junior Estimator, and a Project Manager/Estimator. Depending on project size, you’ll either lead smaller bids or collaborate on larger pursuits.

What you’ll be working on;

Projects ranging from $5M to $40M
Preconstruction and estimating for both public and private sector clients
LEED-accredited and energy-efficient builds
A mix of negotiated and competitive bid work

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum 5–10 years of estimating experience in commercial GC construction
Proven track record of successfully bidding and winning projects ranging from $5M to $40M
Strong understanding of preconstruction processes, including conceptual estimating and value engineering
Experience with both negotiated and hard bid work across multiple sectors (e.g., healthcare, education, mixed-use, government)
