Our client is seeking a Merchandise Specialist – Price Operations in Denver, CO

Role Description

As a Merchandise Specialist on the Price Operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring all pricing and promotional strategies are effectively executed. This position requires collaboration, adaptability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results while supporting the evolving needs of the business.

• Event and Promotion Coordination: Collect and organize details from buying offices for upcoming events and promotions to ensure seamless execution.
• Competitive Analysis: Regularly monitor competitor websites to maintain Nordstrom's competitive pricing position in the market.
• Promotion System Management: Accurately input and update promotional data in Nordstrom's systems, including NPM Promotions and Base Retail UI.
• Merchandising Expertise: Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of merchandising processes and systems.
• Collaboration and Training: Partner with buying offices to streamline procedures, address potential challenges, and provide process training as needed.
• Workflow Management: Operate within a shared workflow, prioritizing tasks to meet business objectives and deadlines.

Skills & Requirements

• Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail/business experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and solve problems effectively.
• Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Preferred Experience: Familiarity with online retail, merchandising, product development processes, or related systems and reporting.
• Motivated and results-driven, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Detail-oriented and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative team player who communicates effectively and supports cross-functional initiatives.
