• Lead mechanical design for HVAC systems from concept through construction.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor installation progress, troubleshoot field issues, and ensure alignment with design intent.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to coordinate MEP systems.
• Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings with a focus on constructability and compliance.
• Prepare detailed field reports and documentation of site conditions and engineering observations.
• Support project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
• Ensure all mechanical systems meet NYC building codes, safety standards, and client requirements.
• Participate in commissioning and closeout activities to verify system performance and quality.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical design and field coordination for building projects.
• Proven experience conducting site inspections and resolving field issues.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools
• Strong understanding of NYC building codes and permitting processes.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and engineering consulting firms.

• Salary Range: $100k - $130k
