Materials Process Engineer – Contract – Pittsburgh, PA – $30.00 - $35.00/hr
The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Materials Process Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA
Role Description
• Coordinate the movement of materials and supplies based on receiving and shipping schedules, including tracking incoming and outgoing goods.
• Schedule and prioritize shipments to support planned activities.
• Perform goods receipt, labelling, and put-away of incoming goods (SAP and hands-on).
• Perform pick/pack/ship processes (SAP and hands-on).
• Maintain accurate records of material receipts, transfers, and shipments using SAP or software.
• Monitor inventory levels; identify and address material issues that could delay orders.
• Assist with inventory counts and discrepancy investigations.
• Provide direction to Material Handlers.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures related to material storage and handling.
• Follow all safety procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in other warehouse activities as needed.
Skills & Requirements
• Associate degree in supply chain or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or related role is highly valued (2 + years).
• Familiarity with GMP/GxP warehousing operations is desired.
• Experience using SAP (or other ERP) and MS Office.
• Ability to work in a combination of office and warehouse setting involving occasional lifting and walking throughout the entire facility.
• Effective problem solving and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
• A hands-on role that will coordinate and perform warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound activities in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of products while maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer satisfaction.
