Our client is seeking a Marketing Manager in New York, NY
Role Description
• Lead evaluation, activation and scale-up of innovative, tech-enabled media channels (e.g., programmatic CTV, digital audio, mobile DSPs) • Partner with media buying teams and external partners to design and launch pilot campaigns that drive performance and efficiency. • Monitor channel performance and provide actionable insights to guide investment strategy • Collaborate with product, engineering, and vendor teams to implement new ad tech solutions (e.g., signal integrations like Conversions API, server-to-server tracking, pre-bid tools). • Identify and define requirements for ad tech stack enhancements supporting measurement, targeting, and buying automation. • Support technical integrations with key vendors and maintain documentation and workflows for cross-functional use. • Develop and manage SPO strategies to ensure cost-effective, transparent media buying across programmatic platforms. • Partner with DAV team to identify premium, brand-safe, and efficient inventory paths. • Analyze supply-side data and advise on inventory curation, bid strategies, and preferred deals. • Collaborate with marketing, data science, privacy/legal, and product teams to ensure initiatives meet compliance and performance standards. • Stay ahead of trends in ad tech, data privacy, and emerging channels, and evangelize findings across the organization.
Skills & Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in digital media, ad tech, or performance marketing • Strong understanding of programmatic media buying, DSPs/SSPs, and emerging platforms (CTV, audio, in-app) • Experience with ad tech tools and infrastructure (e.g., CDPs, server-side integrations, bid shading, curated marketplaces) • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and vendor relationships • Analytical mindset with proficiency in media reporting and optimization • Excellent communication and documentation skill • Prior experience in a D2C or subscription-based business preferred • The Growth Marketing team is tasked with driving global subscriber growth for Disney+ and Disneyʼs streaming bundles. • The team is responsible for the planning, execution and optimization of subscriber acquisition and performance marketing campaigns. • The ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge of and passion for the digital media and the constantly-evolving martech landscape. • As Manager, Emerging Media Channels, you will play a critical role in driving innovation across emerging paid media channels and optimizing how we activate media through advanced ad tech infrastructure. • Youʼll focus on identifying, testing, and scaling high-potential platforms (e.g., audio, & programmatic CTV), managing supply path optimization (SPO) strategies, and enabling new capabilities through ad tech solutions. • This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of media strategy, technology, and performance marketing—and wants to shape the future of how Disney connects with its audiences through cutting-edge platforms.
