Our client is seeking a Marketing Agency Architect - Microsoft Technologies in New York, NY.
Job Responsibilities
The Capgemini Financial Services DCX Marketing Agency is searching for a highly skilled and motivated Architect to lead a team of software engineers, developers, and database administrators. This is a dynamic role, and candidates should expect a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Candidates must have held prior technical leadership roles in an agency, professional services firm, or corporate marketing organization. They should have deep experience leveraging .NET technologies, front-end frameworks, and SQL databases to architect, design, develop, and maintain web applications, APIs, and databases to support complex, high performing, and secure marketing experiences. Experience with Python and AWS is a strong plus.
• Web Application Development: Architect, design, develop, test, and deploy scalable .NET-based web applications and websites.
• API Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support integration across systems and services.
• Front-End Implementation: Collaborate with UI/UX designers and front-end developers to implement responsive interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular.
• Middle-Tier Logic: Develop controllers and APIs to support business logic and data flow.
• Database Development: Design and manage SQL Server databases, including tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues in both production and development environments.
• Leadership: Mentor and guide developers and DBAs to build highly scalable and resilient applications using appropriate technologies
• Client Management: Assist PMs and TPMs in performing client facing conversations to provide level of effort, requirements gathering and analysis discussions
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and fellow developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required Qualifications
• Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core). At least 5+ years of experience leading development teams.
• API Development: Demonstrated experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Front-End Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular.
• Database Knowledge: Strong experience with SQL Server or other relational and non-relational databases.
• Development Tools: Proficient with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code.
• Version Control: Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Experience with AWS cloud platform utilizing AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS), Lambda function.
• Familiarity with Docker Desktop.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with testing frameworks like NUnit or xUnit.
