Your new role

Responsibilities:
Member of a multidisciplinary engineering team, your skills in materials and processes will be called upon to support the aircraft programs.

The candidate will:
•Create or modify technical content of M&P specifications in order to fit with customer’s standards.
•Assess and anticipate the environmental constraints for M&P regarding new regulated substances.
•Provide M&P analysis for NCR (Non-conformity requests) treatments.
•Review drawings with M&P modification.
•Review, approve and provide recommendations for Transfer of Work projects.


In your role, you will:
•Work in close collaboration with M&P Engineers by providing timely M&P recommendations to a variety of manufacturing and assembly issues.
•Engage with M&P engineering team offsite to resolve key technical issues.
•Support the delivery process by providing technical expertise to delivery teams and external customers.
•Exchange information and collaborate with other FAL sites to ensure sharing of technical knowledge.
•Document analyses on M&P work files.

What you'll need to succeed

•You have an engineering background (school or university) and specialize in materials and processes.
•We are looking for a person with good interpersonal skills, who is rigorous and dynamic. The candidate will be autonomous and able to deal with the various problems he/she may be confronted with.
•You have a Bachelor's degree in Material and Processes Engineering as well as a minimum of two (5-8) years of relevant experience.
•You have a good command of composite materials, metallic materials and of processes (special processes, assembly processes, etc.).
•You have experience in aircraft programs is an asset.
•You have experience in qualification management (supplier management, writing of test plans and test reports).
•You have knowledge of REACH regulations.
•You are able to work autonomously and be a good team player.
•You have a good command of the English language (written and spoken) is required. Being completely bilingual (French and English) is an asset.

You have knowledge of the following tools:
•MS Office
•CATIAV5
•Knowledge of Tools (A2EMM-001, Eroom, Enovia, NCMS/HMS) is an asset
