Your new company

Hays have partnered with a New York-based owner operator, who are looking to add a temporary Leasing Analyst to support their commercial office portfolio in Midtown Manhattan. The position will support a critical data consolidation project, designed to centralize leasing data previously stored across multiple platforms—both digital and physical. This role also will be instrumental in standardizing the leasing process into a single automated system, for a portfolio of more than 250 tenants.

Your new role

• Review, extract, and validate lease data from various sources (digital platforms and hard copy files).
• Create accurate lease abstracts and identify key data points (e.g., rent schedules, renewal options, termination clauses).
• Input and organize lease data into a centralized, automated system.
• Collaborate with the Leasing Manager and Controller to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in developing standardized templates and processes for ongoing lease data management.
• Identify inconsistencies or gaps in lease documentation and propose solutions.
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity throughout the project.

What you'll need to succeed

• Must have knowledge of commercial office leases.
• Ability to network with tenant representatives.
• Detail orientated, with excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills (oral & written).
