With decades of industry experience, they built a reputation for quality, safety, and strong client partnerships across both public and private sectors. Their core expertise includes heavy civil construction, underground utilities, site development, concrete structures, and transportation‑related infrastructure.


Your new role
As the Lead Estimator, you will lead the full estimating lifecycle for a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects. You’ll be responsible for reviewing plans and specifications, completing detailed quantity takeoffs, preparing competitive bids, and presenting final estimates to senior leadership. In this strategic role, you’ll collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients. You’ll also play an important part in developing bid strategies, identifying new opportunities, and mentoring junior team members as the department continues to expand.


What you’ll need to succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
  • 10 years of estimating experience on complex civil construction projects
  • Over 8 years of field construction experience with increasing responsibility
  • Experience with the following agencies (MTA, DOT, DDC, DEP)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret civil plans, construction drawings, and technical specifications
  • Deep understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing for civil work
  • Experience preparing detailed estimates (labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors)
  • Proficiency in estimating software (HCSS preferred; training available)
  • Familiarity with HCSS, Bluebeam and Microsoft Suite.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead bid reviews and present to management
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
