Our client is seeking a Lead Business Analyst in Greenwood Village, CO
Role Description
This position is responsible for formulation and definition of systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. With this knowledge, this role designs and develops new systems by configuring new hardware or software, or uses existing systems in new ways to accomplish additional or different outcomes. Works on the most complex projects. Serves as a subject matter expert and mentor to other business systems analysts
• Analyze the most complex and challenging business problems to be solved with automated systems
• Assess available technologies to create development specifications
• Provide deep subject matter expertise technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements
• Consult with management and users to determine the needs of the system
• Design a system to meet the business goals
• Specify inputs and formatting outputs to meet users’ needs
• Oversee implementation, coordinating tests and observing initiation of the system to validate performance
• Improve internal processes, and implement measures to control risks within the business applications framework
• Perform both programming and analysis tasks on business systems
• Lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues
• Facilitates communication and gains commitment between business units to align solutions with business strategies
• Lead feasibility studies to assess cost/benefit, efficiency and technical viability of solutions to business problems
• Lead negotiation agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) from initial requirements to final implementation
• Perform other responsibilities as requested

• This BA will likely focus on our RDK project in taking requirements and getting them migrated to our Jama tool. Once in Jama, these requirements will need to correspond to certain test cases that are located in QMetry and Test Rail.
• We are looking for someone that can ramp up quickly thus a bonus if they already possess experience and expertise in the tools that listed. In addition to these things, the person would do the normal Systems BA functions.
• Take business requirements (Product Requirements Document) PRD and work with an engineering architect to understand how that architect sees achieving those product requirements via an architecture diagram. From there, the BA will work with my firmware engineers to decompose those drawings down into both Jama requirements and then into Jira Stories so that the development engineers can consume these in the development process.
• Personable, friendly, professional, curious, and meticulous.
• understand Network Engineering especially Cable and Internet. Network infrastructure: Cable modems, • Routers / Gateways, switches, and Extenders / Pods
• Tools: Jama, Jira/confluence, QMetry, TestRail, Powerpoint, Lucidchart
• Cable / Telecommunications: RDK-B, DOCSIS, OpenWRT
• Protocols: TR069, TR369 / USP, SNMP, TCP, UDP, TCP/IP, DHCP, IPv4, IPv6, MQTT
• Data Models:TR181, TR143
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
• Framework: TensorFlow / Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Concepts
• Technical writing
• 7+ Years as a Systems BA
