Lead Building Engineer

We’re hiring a Lead Building Engineer to take full ownership of engineering operations for a premier Class A high-rise condominium property in downtown San Diego. This is a permanent role offering $40/hour, where you’ll be the go-to expert for all building systems in a well-supported environment.

The client is a global facilities management provider with over 130 years of experience delivering technical excellence across commercial real estate, healthcare, transit, and critical environments. Known for their commitment to service quality, safety, and operational integration, they support some of the most demanding properties across the U.S. and internationally.

What You’ll Do
  • Operate as the primary engineer for a luxury high-rise property
  • Manage all building systems, preventive maintenance, and vendor coordination
  • Ensure compliance, safety, and operational standards are met
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong background in building operations and engineering
  • Experience in high-rise or Class A commercial properties
  • Ability to work independently and handle full plant responsibilities
