Language Specialist – Generative AI – Perm – Remote – $48,000-$52,000.

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Language Specialist – Generative AI for a remote opportunity.

Role Description

Join a pioneering team dedicated to advancing the frontier of GenAI technologies. As a Language Specialist, you'll collaborate with a diverse group of subject matter experts, language experts, linguists, and AI engineers, partnering closely with major tech industry leaders to drive innovation in GenAI and integrate into a truly global community of subject matter experts spanning various disciplines and AI engineers.
You'll play a pivotal role in a global team shaping a superior, user-centric AI knowledge framework, poised to underpin the next wave of technological user experiences.

Candidates must be available within a consistent time window between 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM for an 8/hr. shift (Eastern time zone) and demonstrate effective time management to meet business needs.

• Crafting training data sets to enhance AI model accuracy, fluency, coherence, and voice
• Annotating data to align AI models with human values
• Analyzing and refining grammar, syntax, and sentence structure in both expert-generated and AI model-generated text to ensure adherence to linguistic norms
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, researchers, and software engineers, to refine and iterate AI models
• Contributing to the evolution of specifications for AI model training and data recipes
• Adapting to dynamic environments and shifting guidelines and priorities
• Meeting target KPIs, including daily job count, average handle time per job, and specified production hours

Skills & Requirements:

• Proficiency in exceptional writing
• Deep comprehension of grammar, syntax, and semantics
• Preferred advanced degree in English (Master’s or Ph.D.), though exceptional Bachelor's holders are encouraged to apply
• Aptitude for enhancing technical communication across diverse technical domains
• Proven creativity
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Proficient internet research skills
• Ability to embrace diversity within teams
• Adaptability to excel in dynamic environments, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving guidelines and priorities
