Learning & Development Specialist — New Hires (SaaS | Construction)

Our client is a rapidly growing SaaS company in the construction technology space. Due to growth, they are looking to hire a Learning & Enablement Specialist to be part of the wider team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-driven, high-growth tech environment and play a pivotal role in shaping the onboarding experience for new hires across all functions.

Your new role

This newly created position will design and deliver structured, engaging onboarding programs for new employees. You’ll collaborate closely with department leaders to ensure every new hire has a clear, effective pathway from day one through role-based training. If you’re passionate about empowering people and building scalable enablement programs, this could be the perfect fit.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Develop and facilitate onboarding programs for new hires (first 30 days)
  • Design and manage learning paths for Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Support, and corporate roles
  • Create and update training documentation and resources using SmartPages, Teams, and LMS platforms (Highspot, Salesforce)
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual onboarding sessions for new hire cohorts
  • Track progress, gather feedback, and continuously improve the onboarding experience
  • Report on program effectiveness and time-to-productivity

What you'll get in return

  • 3–5 years’ experience in onboarding, training, enablement, or workforce development (SaaS or Construction Tech preferred)
  • Proven success designing and delivering structured onboarding programs
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (HR, IT, department leaders)
  • Confident facilitator for both small and large groups
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Education, Instructional Design, or related field
  • Excellent communication, organization, and program management skills
  • Passion for empowering people and aligning with a strong set of core values
