Interior super required New York City (including Westchester County, NY & Fairfield County, CT)

Looking for an experienced superintendent to join a small to mid-sized company based in Manhattan. The role would require you to oversee the build-out and renovation of high-end interior spaces in the greater New York City region. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a detail-oriented professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and ensures projects meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations.


Your new role

  • Site Management: Oversee day-to-day field operations, including subcontractor coordination, material deliveries, and site logistics.
  • Quality Control: Ensure compliance with construction documents, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules; identify and resolve potential delays.
  • Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA regulations and site-specific safety protocols; conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the on-site point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and building management.
  • Documentation: Maintain daily logs, track site conditions, coordinate inspections, and assist with punch list completion and project closeout.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in high-end interior projects.
  • Strong knowledge of renovation processes and building codes.
  • Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
