Our client is seeking an Information Governance Consultant in Atlanta, GA.

Job Responsibilities

• We are seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Governance Operationalization
Integrate RACI and IG requirements into project workflows (e.g., PSIA/AI assessments, tech collaboration).
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify integration points and influence process changes.
Deliverables:
Implemented and agreed-upon process
Process flow documentation with descriptive steps
Updated RACI model
Stakeholder education materials
• Focus Areas
Third-Party Data Sharing:
Develop and embed processes to streamline decisions around external data sharing, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business needs.
Data Inventories & Cataloging:
Improve SAR and ROPA support by tagging and enabling inventory pulls of Guest PII data (GCP, Salesforce). Embed sustainable processes for ongoing data accuracy.
• Effectiveness Measurement
Design KPIs and scorecards to monitor IG effectiveness.
Deliverables:
Defined objectives and stakeholder alignment
Metric definitions and calculation methods
Periodic dashboard (automated where possible)
• Collaboration with Enterprise Architecture
Integrate IG metrics into Application Scorecards.
Influence EA data principles to align with IG standards.
Deliverables:
Metrics or qualitative indicators of IG posture per application
• Information Governance Education
Deliver education and training on IG requirements across initiatives.
