Our client is seeking a IAM Analyst - Governance in for a remote opportunity.

Role Description

The IAM Analyst is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and operations of identity and access controls and procedures for managing user access, role, group, permission definition and management, access reviews, and attestations, application onboarding, and privileged access management while ensuring compliance with industry requirements and standards as well as Information Security policies and standards.

• Execute and validate periodic User Access Reviews (UAR), Groups and Permissions reviews, and Role Based Access Reviews (RBAC) ensuring and evidencing completeness and accuracy throughout all stages of the review
• Manage and conduct periodic lookback assessments for SOX applications
• Configure and monitor access reviews in SailPoint
• Manage end user and system accounts, user access groups, roles, and entitlements using applicable tools and applications
• Respond to internal and external audit requests, ensuring accurate documentation and remediation tracking
• Design, implement, and maintain IAM access review processes
• Collaborate with Compliance, Audit, Risk, and business units to maintain regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, FFIEC, GLBA, PCI-DSS)
• Work with system/application owners or vendors to define, develop and document new user roles and permissions

Skills & Requirements

• 3+ years of progressive experience in IAM roles, preferably in banking, insurance, asset management, or financial technology
• 2+ years of experience in executing and validating user access reviews
• 2+ years of experience setting up, monitoring, and closing access reviews on SailPoint IIQ or ISC
• 2+ years of experience with operating processes and procedures that align with controls for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), FFIEC, ISO 27001/2, FISMA or National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
• Demonstrated understanding of information security policies, standards, and industry leading practices
• Demonstrated knowledge of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Single Sign-On (SSO), Multifactor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
• Proficiency with Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, and cloud IAM (e.g., AWS IAM, Azure RBAC) preferred
• Proficiency with Jira, Avanti, ServiceNow, or similar ITSM platforms preferred
• Minimum 2 year college degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field preferred
• Professional security management certification such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or other similar credentials preferred
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Ability to write technical documentation to clearly document technical processes and procedures with strong attention to detail
• High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with limited supervision
• High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and procedures
