A global economics consulting firm headquartered in the UK, serving clients worldwide in over 20 countries, has a growing footprint in the Americas. To support this growth, the firm is seeking a seasoned HR Generalist to take full ownership of its US HR function: driving structure, compliance, and strategic alignment from its key office in New York City.

Your new role

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in HR operations within a professional services or similar high-performance environment
• Strong understanding of US employment law; exposure to Canadian and Mexican labor laws is a plus.
• Ability to manage payroll processes and liaise with third-party providers
• Confident advising senior stakeholders and pushing back when needed to uphold global standards.
• Degree or HR certification required
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities across regions
