We are partnering with a leading manufacturing client to recruit an experienced and hands‑on HR Business Partner to support their plant operations. This is a fully on‑site role and requires someone confident partnering with both hourly and salaried employees, while serving as a trusted advisor to managers across the facility.

This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced industrial environment, enjoys being visible on the plant floor, and can operate independently while collaborating closely with the HR Director.

Your new role

  • Serve as the primary HR partner to plant leadership and frontline managers
  • Manage a wide range of employee relations matters with sound judgment and confidentiality
  • Coach and develop managers on performance, communication, and team leadership
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. employment regulations, company policies, and industry requirements
  • Support HR processes for both hourly and salaried employees
  • Lead investigations, documentation, and resolution of ER matters
  • Partner with the HR Director on organizational initiatives, workforce planning, and site strategy
  • Maintain strong on‑site visibility to build trust and credibility across the workforce

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial operations
  • Experience supporting both hourly employees and exempt leaders
  • Strong background in employee relations, investigations, coaching, and compliance
  • Deep understanding of U.S. employment law
  • Comfortable working independently, with excellent judgment and professionalism
  • Strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to navigate complex situations
  • Dependable, approachable, and confident supporting managers on‑site

What you'll get in return

  • Competitive salary aligned with experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match
  • Autonomy and ownership in leading HR at the plant level
  • The opportunity to work closely with the HR Director and influence site‑wide people strategy
  • A stable, supportive environment with long‑term career potential
