On‑Site HR Business Partner | Trusted Advisor to Plant Leadership
We are partnering with a leading manufacturing client to recruit an experienced and hands‑on HR Business Partner to support their plant operations. This is a fully on‑site role and requires someone confident partnering with both hourly and salaried employees, while serving as a trusted advisor to managers across the facility.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast‑paced industrial environment, enjoys being visible on the plant floor, and can operate independently while collaborating closely with the HR Director.
Your new role
- Serve as the primary HR partner to plant leadership and frontline managers
- Manage a wide range of employee relations matters with sound judgment and confidentiality
- Coach and develop managers on performance, communication, and team leadership
- Ensure compliance with U.S. employment regulations, company policies, and industry requirements
- Support HR processes for both hourly and salaried employees
- Lead investigations, documentation, and resolution of ER matters
- Partner with the HR Director on organizational initiatives, workforce planning, and site strategy
- Maintain strong on‑site visibility to build trust and credibility across the workforce
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial operations
- Experience supporting both hourly employees and exempt leaders
- Strong background in employee relations, investigations, coaching, and compliance
- Deep understanding of U.S. employment law
- Comfortable working independently, with excellent judgment and professionalism
- Strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to navigate complex situations
- Dependable, approachable, and confident supporting managers on‑site
