Your new company

Founded in 1993, our client is a diversified Chinese conglomerate with core businesses in biopharmaceuticals, healthcare products, and food & beverage. As they expand their global footprint, they are establishing their U.S. operations in the beverage and bottling (CPG) business to support strategic growth, innovation, and talent development. They are seeking an experienced Head of HR, USA to build and lead the human resources function from the ground up.

Your new role

  • Build and implement the full HR function for the U.S. operations.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategy.
  • Develop HR policies and procedures aligned with U.S. labor laws and corporate standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that reflects the company’s mission and values.
  • Act as a cultural bridge between U.S. and China teams, promoting collaboration and mutual understanding.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 8+ years of HR leadership experience, ideally in a startup or international expansion context.
  • Experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, HR compliance, and best practices.
  • Proven experience setting up HR infrastructure from scratch.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, or related field; advanced degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR).
