Your new company

Our client is a leading third-party property management organization with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality facilities management services across complex, mission-critical environments. They are now seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee operations at a prestigious aerospace facility in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Your new role

As Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the full operational management of a highly secure and technically advanced aerospace site. You will ensure all building services and compliance requirements are maintained to the highest standards, supporting day to day operations of the site.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and structural systems
  • Managing third-party contractors and service providers, ensuring performance, safety, and contractual compliance
  • Ensuring full adherence to aerospace, health & safety, and regulatory standards
  • Supporting site readiness for launches and other key operational milestones
  • Budget management, reporting, and cost control for facilities-related expenditure
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives and sustainability practices across the site

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring a proven track record in facilities management within a complex, high-compliance environment such as aerospace, aviation, defense, or similar critical infrastructure.
You will also have:
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, mechanical)
  • Experience managing large-scale or high-security facilities
  • Demonstrated ability to manage contractors and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Solid understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, solution-driven approach with strong organizational ability
Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (e.g. IWFM, NEBOSH, or equivalent) will be advantageous.
