Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints and other project documentation to prepare time, cost, material, and labor estimates.
• Assess cost-effectiveness of projects or services, tracking actual costs as the project develops.
• Consult with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
• Conduct site visits and gather all necessary data, such as the number of workers, equipment, and materials needed.
• Use software for data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Present estimates to clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.
• Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Adjust estimates when there are changes in the scope of a project.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
