A major healthcare institution in New York City is seeking a highly motivated Energy Manager to support its sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives. With a strong commitment to reducing environmental impact and improving operational performance, this organization offers a unique opportunity for an experienced energy professional to lead impactful projects across a large and complex healthcare network.

Your New Role

• Develop and implement site-specific Energy Management Plans
• Assist in creating comprehensive energy strategies for the health system
• Oversee consultants and contractors delivering energy services
• Support compliance with Local Laws 84, 87, and 97, and other relevant legislation
• Conduct energy audits, retro-commissioning, and system optimization
• Identify and manage energy conservation measures and related projects
• Develop and implement Measurement & Verification protocols
• Analyze and report energy data to track performance against goals
• Manage energy budgets and oversee submetering plans
• Identify and secure incentives from NYSERDA and Con Edison
• Provide services across multiple Mount Sinai locations in NYC

What You'll Need to Succeed

• 3–5 years of experience in energy management, facilities management, or related fields
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, lighting systems, and BMS/BAS
• Proficiency in energy data analysis tools and ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or related field
• Required Certification: Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Energy Auditor (CEA)
• Preferred Certification: Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP)
