Your new role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead electrical delivery during the construction phase of major projects. Acting as the electrical point of contact on site, you will take ownership from handover through closeout, working closely with contractors, construction managers, architects, and owners. This is a senior, hands on role with real responsibility and visibility, suited to an engineer who enjoys being close to construction and leading work in the field.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading electrical activities during the construction phase through turnover

• Attending and representing the engineering team at construction meetings

• Reviewing submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and change requests

• Producing site visit reports and punch lists

• Coordinating with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls disciplines

• Mentoring and supporting junior electrical engineers involved in construction phase work

• Design teams provide technical support where required, but you will own day to day electrical delivery during construction.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• BS in Electrical Engineering

• Relevant electrical engineering experience

• Strong construction and site‑based background

• Experience delivering complex, infrastructure‑heavy projects (healthcare, life science, data centers, transit, etc.)

• Solid understanding of electrical systems and MEP coordination

• Fire alarm design and construction experience (NYC experience advantageous)

• Experience mentoring or leading engineers

• Strong written communication and organizational skills
