Our client is seeking a Dynamics 365-CRM Consultant in Charlotte, NC.

Role Description

Requirements Gathering & Process Mapping
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements across B2B and B2C operations.
Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows aligned with D365 CE capabilities.
Define functional specifications for customizations, integrations, and reporting needs.
Solution Design & Configuration
Configure D365 CE modules including:
Sales: Lead and opportunity management, pipeline tracking
Customer Service: Case management, SLAs, service scheduling
Marketing: Campaign management, customer segmentation, lead scoring, event management
Leverage Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps) to streamline processes.
Support integration with external systems and data platforms.
Data & Integration Support
Collaborate with data and integration teams to support:
Migration from AX 2009 to D365 CE
Integration with Databricks for Pet Registry and Microchip Registry
Real-time data flows with Shopify, Espresa, Paymentech, SendGrid
Validate data mappings and support UAT for migrated and integrated data.
AI & Insights Enablement
Assist in enabling Microsoft Copilot for AI-powered customer interaction summaries and forecasting.
Support Customer Insights configuration for enriched customer profiling and segmentation.
Ensure business users can access curated insights via Dataverse and Power BI.
Testing, Training & Support
Develop test cases and support functional testing, UAT, and defect resolution.
Create user guides and deliver training sessions for business users.
Provide post-Go-Live support and continuous improvement recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience:
12+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.

Strong understanding of:
D365 Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing modules
Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse)
Integration frameworks and data migration processes
Experience in large-scale CRM implementations and stakeholder engagement.
Excellent communication, documentation, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant Associate (CE)
Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Copilot, and Customer Insights
Familiarity with IPPD 365 or similar delivery frameworks
