I am currently seeking a Director of Construction to lead projects for Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brands for a General Contractor in Texas. This role is ideal for a construction leader or a Senior Project Manager who is ready to step up to a DoC role, who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment and understands the unique demands of high‑volume retail and restaurant delivery.

Your new role

• Oversee all phases of construction for QSR projects across Texas and surrounding regions, from pre‑construction through closeout.
• Manage project teams, including project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with national QSR clients, architects, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and refine operational processes, reporting structures, and performance metrics to support scalable growth.
• Provide executive‑level forecasting, risk management, and strategic planning for a growing project portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, permitting requirements, and brand‑specific construction guidelines.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven leadership experience with a general contractor, ideally in a Director‑level or senior project leadership role.
• A strong track record delivering QSR or high‑volume retail projects (ground‑up, TI, remodels, or rollouts).
• Deep understanding of fast‑track schedules, multi‑site coordination, and franchise brand standards.
• Ability to lead teams, manage client expectations, and drive operational excellence.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
