Director of Project Management with Owners Rep Tenant Improvement & Life Science required in San Francisco

Our client is a dynamic and entrepreneurial consultancy firm with 11 offices across the U.S., recently merged with an international leader in integrated project delivery and cost management. This strategic expansion has unlocked new opportunities in high-end Tenant Improvement for Corporate Office and Life Science clients. The San Francisco office is growing rapidly, and we’re seeking a visionary Director to lead a high-performing team and drive market growth.


Your new role

As Director of Project Management, you will lead a team of six experienced professionals, guiding them in delivering exceptional results across high-end Tenant Improvement projects for law firms, tech companies, and life science labs. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Strategic leadership and mentorship of the project management team
  • Expanding client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Driving revenue growth across key market sectors
  • Overseeing proposal development, project delivery, and client satisfaction
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to shape business strategy and process improvements

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management, including recent Owners Rep experience
  • Proven track record in high-end Tenant Improvement projects (Commercial Office & Life Science)
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and growing teams
  • Business development acumen and a passion for client engagement
  • Background in General Contracting or Architecture is a plus
