The longest-standing and one of the most successful civil general contractors is looking for an Estimator to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary information for estimates.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Maintain and update cost databases and estimating software.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and presentations.
• Provide support during contract negotiations and project planning phases.
• Monitor industry trends and developments to ensure competitive pricing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in construction and estimating civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost factors.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in HCSS and Microsoft Suite.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
