Our client is seeking a Deployment & Operations Engineer in Atlanta, GA.

Job Responsibilities

• We are seeking a driven and experienced Network Engineer with expertise in private cellular (CBRS, LTE, 5G), 60 GHz Terragraph, and Ethernet LAN networking to join our team.
• In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and operating highly complex, customer-facing network solutions.
• You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, performance optimization, and continuous improvement of our networking infrastructure.
• Implementation Engineering & Deployment Support
• Design implementable private cellular (LTE/5G), 60 GHz Terragraph, and Ethernet network solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Lead the deployment of designed CBRS/Private LTE/5G solutions, corresponding Ethernet LAN infrastructures, 60 GHz Terragraph networks, and associated network components.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and testing of private wireless solutions, including LTE/5G networks, edge computing, and security components.
• Act as the primary technical liaison during the implementation phase, project managing between engineering teams, vendors, and customer IT staff.
• Conduct on-site and remote validation testing, troubleshooting network performance and ensuring adherence to design specifications.
• Take initiative to refine deployment and operational processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Customer Engagement & Technical Support
• Provide post-deployment technical training and documentation to customers to ensure they can effectively manage their network.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor, offering guidance on expansion, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Manage post-installation issue resolution, coordinating with engineering and vendor teams to resolve any performance or integration concerns. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Conduct network health assessments and continuous monitoring to proactively identify and address issues.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with sales engineers to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales design to post-sales deployment.
• Partner with project managers to track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely completion of customer projects.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to provide field feedback and drive product enhancements based on real-world deployments.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, including deployment records, configuration details, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and operating private cellular (CBRS, LTE, 5G), 60 GHz Terragraph, and/or large-scale Ethernet networks.
• Experience with Private Cellular solutions such as Celona, MOCN, Google SAS & Cambium radios
• Hands-on experience and expertise in L1-L4 IP networking (CCNA, CCIE, Network+, etc.).
• Strong understanding of RF principles, spectrum management, 60 GHz Terragraph technology, and cellular core networks (EPC, 5GC).
• Expertise in networking, firewalls, and cloud-based management platforms.
• Experience with network troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring tools.
• Ability to work in large, customer-facing environments, handling complex networking challenges.
• A self-starter mentality with the ability to take ownership, improve processes, operate successfully in an entrepreneurial environment, and drive results.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively in a lean and hands-on team.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CWNP, CPI, Network+, CBRS CPI, or equivalent.
• Experience with RF design tools like iBwave, Eino, Ekahau, etc.
• Familiarity with IoT, edge computing, and enterprise security frameworks.
• PMI certifications such as CAPM, PfMP, PMI-ACP, or PMI-PBA.
