Our client is seeking a Delivery Manager in Buena Vista, FL.
Role Description
The Delivery Manger and team are responsible for the seamless execution of distinct projects and programs from initiation to successful delivery. The Delivery Manger plays a pivotal role in Driving/managing schedules, resources, and aligning technical activities with business objectives. And removing roadblocks to allow the team to keep forward motion.
The role will necessitate having a deep understanding of WMS from both business and technical capabilities, identify gaps and deliver Delivery roadmaps for new capabilities. A successful candidate will be highly collaborative, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization while wearing multiple hats, be comfortable working autonomously, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple Deliverys and applications. As the subject matter expert for Supply Chain, the role will be a liaison to development, implementation and support teams as well as support projects, enhancements, backlog and prioritization of features and capabilities.
· Lead and manage the software application delivery process, emphasizing integration with cloud and SaaS solutions, from initiation to completion.
· Handle project interdependencies in support of business strategies, roadmaps
· Leads project roadmap in terms of prioritizing initiatives relative to business needs
· Develop and maintain in partnership with the project manager detailed execution plans, identifying critical path activities and potential risks related to cloud applications and ETL processes.
· Effectively communicate project status, issues, and resolutions, particularly those related to cloud and SaaS integration, to key stakeholders.
· Collaborate with technical leads and architects to ensure alignment with overall project goals and technical standards, in the context of the chosen solution.
· Implement and enforce best practices for software development and delivery, emphasizing quality, performance, and security in cloud environments.
· Collaborate with project stakeholders and vendors to gather requirements, set expectations, and provide regular project updates.
· Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and client satisfaction enhancement in the context of cloud-based solutions
· Demonstrate a strong understanding of cloud technologies, SaaS architectures, and ETL processes in software development and delivery.
· Oversee day-to-day technical execution and stakeholder communications
· Strong leadership qualities and ability to motivate project team members associated with the initiatives
· Collaborate with Business, Technology and Vendor teams to align on roadmaps and strategy
Skills & Requirements
· 5+ years of Delivery management experience
· 5+ years of WMS Delivery expertise
· Minimum 5 year technical Delivery knowledge in Supply Chain
· Experience leading discussion with senior leaders across business and technology.
· Deep Supply Chain experience in Warehouse Delivery.
· Experience driving Delivery strategy and optimization efforts for supply chain spanning multiple lines of business (Merchandise/Food & Beverage).
· Understanding of Agile technical practices, DevOps and testing concepts (CI/CD, TDD)
· Ability to think strategically and drive ideas into action, with a positive outlook and willingness to take personal initiative
· Demonstrated ability to identify, understand and drive resolution of complex critical issues
· Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrated experience presenting to and communicating with Executive Leadership
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar field or related work experience
· Prior experience with Blue Yonder WMS or other BY products preferred but not required.
· Experience with the implementation of demand/supply forecasting using AI/ML.
· Experience implementing Supply Chain Data Integration Platforms to provide for the seamless flow of information across connected systems
· Exposure to testing strategy and automated testing
