Our client is seeking a Data Loss Prevention (Purview) Contractor in
Remote.

Responsibilities

o Provide Data Loss Prevention (DLP) services, primarily using Microsoft Purview, for Abacode/Thrive clients.
o Support ongoing DLP work for two existing clients, with potential for additional hours if broader Microsoft 365 security skills are present.
o Assist with compliance-related tasks, including using Microsoft Compliance Manager within Purview.
o May help skill up internal team members in relevant areas.
• Required Skills
o Strong expertise in Data Loss Prevention, specifically with Microsoft Purview.
o Experience with Microsoft Compliance Manager and understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST 800-171, CMMC, ISO 27001, SOC 2) is a significant plus. – the frameworks are not required.
o General knowledge of the Microsoft 365 platform and experience with security engineering/configuration within the platform is highly desirable.
o Excellent communication and responsiveness; prior issues with contractors included poor responsiveness and lack of engagement with meeting invites.
• Work Arrangement & Compensation
o Remote work is acceptable; being local is a minor benefit but not required.
o Part-time to start, estimated at 15-20 hours per week.
o The role is likely to last at least 3-4 months, with potential for extension depending on integration progress and client needs.
o Flexibility in scheduling, with meetings typically set during Eastern business hours and anchored to recurring times when possible.
