Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative – in Pompano Beach, FL.

Role Description

• The Customer Service Representative manages customer interactions and order fulfillment activities with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
• This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers, Sales Representatives, Warehouse, and internal departments, ensuring timely resolution of order-related issues and consistent delivery of high-quality customer service.
• The position operates with moderate independence and supports continuous improvement within customer service operations.
• Serve as a primary contact for customers regarding orders, shipments, product availability, and service inquiries
• Manage order entry, order updates, and tracking through the company’s ERP system
• Resolve customer issues such as shipping delays, discrepancies, returns, and documentation errors with minimal supervision
• Proactively communicate order status changes to customers, Sales Representatives, and internal teams
• Monitor freight performance and address delivery exceptions
• Process returns goods (RMA) and ensure proper documentation and system updates
• Ensure accurate and timely confirmations, and order documentation
• Maintain accurate reporting and order status updates in internal systems
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Sales, and Finance teams to support timely order fulfillment
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality customer service
Job Functions
• Review daily order activity to ensure customer requests, claims, and complaints are resolved accurately and efficiently
• Validate customer orders for pricing, quantities, product availability, and allocations
• Identify order exceptions and coordinate resolutions with appropriate departments
• Support Accounts Receivable by assisting with invoice discrepancies, rejected invoices, and basic chargeback documentation
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
• Assist with testing, implementing, or improving tools and procedures related to order management
• Analyze basic operational data and reports to identify trends or service gaps

Requirements & Skills

• Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or a related field preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
Experience
• 3–5 years of customer service or order management experience
• Experience working with ERP systems required (NetSuite preferred)
• Knowledge of EDI and order-to-cash processes preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
