As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a talented Cost/ Project Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Your New Role:
As a Cost/ Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of ongoing and upcoming projects. You will work closely with Project Managers to assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities. Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
Coordinating with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project flow.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Managing project documentation and reporting.
Contributing to cost control and budget management to maintain project profitability.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
To thrive in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
2-5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, particularly with roadway/highway projects.
Hands-on experience in asphalt paving, bridge construction, or grading.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate across functions.
A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required).
Experience in estimating or takeoff is a bonus.
Willingness to relocate if necessary.
