Your new role

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process
• Provide financial guidance and insight to operations and plant leadership teams
• Analyze costs, margins, inventory, production performance, and supply chain expenses to identify opportunities for improvement
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting processes
• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including AP, AR, fixed assets, and intercompany activities
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning initiatives
• Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support compliance efforts
• Manage external audits and regulatory reporting requirements
• Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• CPA designation preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, commodities, recycling, or other operationally focused environments
• Demonstrated success leading accounting or finance teams
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial information into business recommendations
• Advanced Excel capabilities and experience working with ERP systems
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
