Looking for an experienced ground-up construction superintendent for both public and private projects

Your new company

Currently seeking a superintendent to lead ground-up projects across NYC. As the superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the onsite daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders.


Your new role

  • Oversee all phases of ground-up construction projects from site prep to final punch list
  • Manage day-to-day field operations, including scheduling, inspections, and subcontractor coordination
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, RFIs, and change orders
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Owners to ensure alignment on project goals
  • Lead and mentor field staff and subcontractors to foster a productive and respectful jobsite culture
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact schedule, cost, or quality
  • Conduct regular site meetings and safety briefings


What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
