Project Manager with Life Science Construction experience required in South San Francisco

Our client is a very reputable commercial General Contractor headquartered in San Francisco, CA, with deep roots across the San Francisco Bay Area. The company specializes in interiors and complex build-outs for sectors such as Commercial Office, Life Sciences & Technology. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to lead complex construction projects within a dynamic life sciences environment. This role is based on a client campus in South San Francisco and requires a strong background in managing projects for biotech, pharmaceutical, or laboratory facilities.


Your new role

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with client standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance to deliver projects on time and within scope
  • Collaborate closely with client stakeholders and internal teams to maintain seamless communication and project alignment.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in Life Sciences construction (biotech, pharma, or lab environments)
  • Strong understanding of GMP, cleanroom requirements, and regulated facility standards
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
