Multifamily Developer in DC hiring a Construction Manager

Your new company:
A premier general contractor specializing in high-end custom residential projects is seeking a Construction Manager to lead luxury custom home projects across Washington DC. What you'll need to succeed:
  • 6+ years of experience managing luxury residential construction projects—single-family homes, townhomes, or apartments as a Construction Manager.
  • Strong background in high-end finishes, custom detailing, and working closely with architects, designers, and discerning clients.
  • Ability to lead projects from pre-construction through final handover, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline goals are met.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Must live locally to Washington DC—this is a 5-day on-site role, with active jobsite presence required
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.

What you'll need to succeed:
To be successful in this role you will have 5+ years’ experience working for a general contractor or construction manager in overseeing multifamily construction projects in the values of $10M -$50M range. Washington DC, Maryland or Virginia multifamily experience is critical. You will also be degree qualified within construction/business management, architecture, or engineering.
