Hays is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee self-perform concrete operations on high-profile projects in the Raleigh, NC area. This is a full-time position for a proven leader with a strong background in field supervision and concrete construction.

Your new role

• Lead and manage all on-site concrete activities, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence
• Coordinate daily operations with project managers, foremen, and subcontractors
• Supervise and direct self-perform crews in formwork, placement, finishing, and curing
• Monitor progress and adjust schedules and manpower as needed
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure proper execution
• Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
• Communicate effectively with clients, engineers, and vendors

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Concrete Superintendent on self-perform projects
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, equipment, and materials
• Proven ability to manage crews and coordinate complex field operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with safety regulations and jobsite compliance
• Proficiency in project documentation and reporting tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
