Our client is seeking a Collision Specialist in Atlanta, GA.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Collision Specialist to support and enhance its Certified Collision Program. This role combines program administration, analytics, marketing coordination, vendor management, and industry relations to ensure the continued success and growth of certified collision repair facilities.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and proactive, with strong communication and presentation skills. This individual will use data, industry insights, and cross-functional collaboration to drive program performance and operational excellence.
Program Administration & Compliance
• Manage new program applications and facility re-certifications.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Evaluate market-area compliance and proximity requirements for certified collision centers.
• Maintain participant records, profiles, and certification archives.
• Prepare approval and certification-related communications.
Training & Certification
• Coordinate welder certification training and re-entry programs.
• Communicate certification results and required corrective actions.
• Monitor participant compliance with program standards and requirements.
Financial & Account Management
• Administer program billing, certification fees, and training fee collections.
• Maintain participant accounts and resolve billing inquiries or disputes.
• Track delinquencies and ensure timely issue resolution.
Marketing & Industry Engagement
• Support development of program marketing materials, digital assets, signage, and certification plaques.
• Assist with participation in industry conferences, workshops, roundtables, and professional events.
• Help promote program awareness and engagement within the collision repair industry.
Audit & Vendor Coordination
• Serve as a liaison between third-party auditors, field personnel, and program participants.
• Coordinate certification audits and ensure processes align with current program requirements.
• Partner with vendors and internal stakeholders to support program operations.
Data Analytics & Strategic Reporting
• Analyze program performance data and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Develop executive-level presentations and reports using PowerPoint and analytics tools.
• Provide data-driven recommendations that improve program effectiveness and participant performance.
• Identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Automotive Collision Repair
• Automotive Retail / Dealership Operations
• Parts & Accessories
• Business Operations
• Vendor Management
• Sales
• Administration
• Accounting
• Market Research
• Marketing / Communications Planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools (Power BI or similar platforms preferred).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Experience within the collision repair, body shop, automotive parts, or dealership environment is highly preferred.
• Candidates with experience in any of the following environments will be especially successful:
• Collision repair centers or body shops
• Automotive dealerships
• Parts distribution or aftermarket operations
• Automotive manufacturer programs
• Vendor or program management roles
• Data analysis and business operations support positions
