Our client is seeking a Cloud FinOps Manager in Atlanta, GA.

Role Description

Position Overview:
• Reports to the Director, Global Infrastructure and Operations / ServiceNow Governance and Enablement
• Focuses on Cloud Financial Cost Management (FinOps)
• Key role in developing and implementing governance frameworks in collaboration with senior leadership

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a technical governance framework with Product Owners, CTO, and VPs
• Drive cloud cost optimization and toggling strategies using the Vantage FinOps platform (with Data Analytics)
• Lead reporting and automation related to cloud spend and optimization
• Collaborate with stakeholders on forecasting, cost usage, and optimization
• Deliver training and enablement on FinOps principles and platform usage to CTO, VPs, and Product Owners
• Advocate for early buy-in on training and cost optimization strategies to demonstrate business impact

Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Able to pick up and execute an existing strategy developed by the Director
• Comfortable discussing renewals, optimization opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives with senior stakeholders
• Not overly technical, but understands cloud platforms in the context of FinOps and cost optimization
• Proven ability to drive optimization, influence stakeholders, and communicate financial impact

Skills & Requirements

Required Skills & Experience:
• Strong understanding of AWS and Azure (GCP knowledge is a plus, especially Google Marketplace)
• Experience with FinOps principles and cloud financial management
• Familiarity with tools such as: AWS Console, AWS Cost Optimization, Apteo or other Cloud Cost Management platforms
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities
• Experience in cloud tagging, forecasting, and cost usage analysis

3+ years of experience in cloud financial management or a related field, with a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or IT.
• Proficient in cloud cost optimization tools and techniques, with a strong understanding of cloud pricing models.
• Experience with multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud cost management platforms.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with strong financial modeling and data analysis capabilities.
