Cloud Engineer II (Citrix) – Permanant – Remote – $85,500 - $ 110,000

The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Cloud Engineer II (Citrix) in Remote opportunity.

Role Description

• This role is the escalation point for diamond customer issues coming in from support that are unable to be resolved by the support team.
• They are a proactive resource as it relates to monitoring for customer environment, regarding updates and successful changes.
• They are a proactive resource as it relates to investigating spikes/surges of alerts and utilizations on customers environments
• They are a Point of Contact (POC) for customers who wishes to have changes performed by and not typically handled by support
• They are a proactive and reactive resource as it relates to starting the conversation about resizing, then handed off to Client Engagement Manager ((CEM) .
• When applicable they are responsible for actively engaging internally on diamond customer implementations to familiarize themselves with the env the environment and they perform sanity/QA checks on the environment before customer adoption.
• Work with Support to provide guidance/prioritize updates and responses to customers issues
• Provide assistance to customers as/if needed for reported issues. This would include potential work arounds, scheduling, inc
• Create documentation / Training for support to handle issues currently escalated to to the PSE's but able to be handled in support going forward
• Actively attend training when available on current and new services in their environment to stay current and ahead of customer requests.
• They actively review deployments and schedule udpates as needed

Skills & Requirements

• Candidate must have worked with a multi-tenant shop (preferably MSP or a company that provides services to multiple small/mid size businesses).

• This person must be passionate, collaborative, results oriented capable of inspiring and building cross functional high performing relationships to effectively drive change while achieving established goals.
• 6 years professional experience along with a college degree in Citrix
• Advanced experience in XenApp 7 x (PVS, Storefront, Director, Session. Host, Base Imeage, NetScaler) Must have experience designing, implementing and in depth troubleshooting skills.
• Strong VMWare or strong generalized infrastructure management/server management
• Advanced experience in setting up and configuring Windows Server 2012-2022
• Strong networking experience - experience configuring and maintaining network solutions, IP address, MAC address, Layer 1 VS Layer 2, VPN , Subnet, NAT, Firewall
• O365 experience would be very helpful as it relates to administration experience including Office, Teams, SharePoint, Intune and OneDrive.
