My client is seeking a seasoned Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent with a strong background in road and bridge construction. This role is critical to their new project and operations and requires a candidate who can ensure the successful execution of construction projects.

Your new role

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
• Manage logistics, including the coordination of material and equipment.
• Resolve any problems that may arise.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a construction superintendent in heavy civil construction, specifically in roads and bridge construction for a general contractor.
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
