Our client is seeking a Catastrophe Risk Analyst (FTE) in Atlanta, GA, / Hybrid
Role Description
We are hiring a Catastrophe Risk Analyst to support property and catastrophe risk management across the business. This is a full time, hybrid role based in Atlanta, GA, working closely with underwriting, actuarial, and leadership teams.
The manager is actively looking to fill this role by the end of the month, making this a high priority opening.
• Analyze catastrophe exposure using vendor cat models and internal tools
• Support underwriting and portfolio management decisions with data driven insights
• Evaluate property risk accumulation by region, peril, and line of business
• Run and interpret model results, including scenario and stress testing
• Prepare reports and presentations for underwriting leadership
• Partner with underwriting, actuarial, and reinsurance teams to support risk strategy
• Help improve modeling assumptions, data quality, and analytics processes
Skills & Requirements
• Experience in catastrophe modeling or property risk analytics within insurance or reinsurance
• Working knowledge of major catastrophe modeling platforms (RMS, AIR, or similar)
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills
• Ability to clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working cross functionally with underwriters or actuaries
• Ideal candidate has 7–10+ years of experience
• Candidates with less or more experience may still be considered based on overall fit
• Bachelor’s degree required (Risk Management, Math, Engineering, Finance, or similar)
• Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus but not mandatory
