Our client is seeking a Business Quality Tester in Seattle, WA

Role Description

Understand key business processes and workflows of Patient Scheduling, Apheresis Operations, and Account Management to be able to provide appropriate testing and feedback for the development of enhancements to the Global Patient Scheduling System.

• Leverage functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to author Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts that align with key business process flows.
• Perform Business Impact Assessments for Business Acceptance Testing scripts and scenarios.
• Support testing across multiple integrated systems as representative from the Global Patient Scheduling System perspective.
• Support providing business testing scope for cross-platform testing efforts.
• Submit, track, and report on any bug, functionality, or other issues that are discovered during BAT and UAT testing.
• Partner closely with IT functional, development, and testing resources to resolve defects and bugs identified in testing.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to trace UAT test scripts to their applicable business processes.
• Educate end-users or other teams on business processes and new features.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in software development, science, technology, or equivalent field
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge in Agile software development
• Understanding of validation steps for deploying releases to a GMP/GxP system
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication
• Collaborative worker across multiple departments, regions, and functions
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced and frequently shifting environment
• Software test experience in User Acceptance testing, both authoring and executing test scripts
• Experience educating end users or others on business processes
• Experience collaborating across multiple functions, particularly Quality Assurance
• Experience in a highly regulated industry is a huge plus
• Experience in defect management
