Your new role
As a Business Development/Project Engineer with a water and environmental background, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and delivering impactful projects. You will balance business development initiatives with the technical oversight of projects, ensuring both strategic and operational success. Responsibilities will include identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, preparing proposals, and managing multidisciplinary teams to execute projects in water/environmental engineering.
What you'll need to succeed
- A degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in business development and project engineering within the water or environmental sector.
- A strong understanding of water resource management, environmental regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to foster client relationships and secure new opportunities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS).
- A proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
